Dear clients,
To achieve the best possible results, please pay attention to these important guidelines before sending your files for mastering:
Bit depth: The higher, the better. Ideally, please send 32-bit float files. 24-bit files are also accepted. Please avoid sending 16-bit files unless it’s your only option.
Sample rate: 44,100 Hz, 48,000 Hz, or 96,000 Hz.
File formats: WAV (.wav) or AIFF (.aif) only.
MP3 files are not accepted (exceptions can be made only if MP3 is the only available format).
Compression/Limiting:
Very important: Lower the volume on your master bus fader to around -3 dB peak. Disable all limiters, maximizers, and finalizers on your master bus. The average loudness should not exceed -15 dB RMS. Minimal peak limiting is allowed if you know exactly what you’re doing.
Dithering:
Please do not apply dithering.
Fades:
If possible, avoid adding fade-ins or fade-outs—I will handle this with precision.
File naming:
Please include your artist name and song title in the file name, for example:
depeche mode – enjoy the silence.wav
Providing a reference track (an example of how you want your music to sound) is highly recommended and will make the process much smoother.
